DONUT CRAZY

Donut Crazy is a new business located in West Hartford Center. With five other locations in Stratford, New Haven, Wesport, Shelton, and Branford, Donut Crazy supplies fun and creative donuts around all of Connecticut. There are over 40 types of donuts to select from, ranging from more traditional flavors such as Apple Cinnamon and Glazed Jelly to more creative flavors such as Stuffed Cookie Dough and Cannoli Donuts. Mason Murphy, a Conard sophomore and avid donut enthusiast, says: “There are so many flavors to choose from.”

However, if donuts are not what you’re looking for, Donut Crazy also offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches, coffees, cocoas, and juices to start off the morning right. There are also a variety of sandwich-donut combos, such as the Donut-Go-Crazy Bacon Cheeseburger, containing a burger between two griddled glazed donuts. The chain is also the proud inventor of the Cruffin, a Croissant-Muffin combination.

This establishment, open since November 21, 2018, has won several awards in the area. In Connecticut Magazines People’s Choice Award, Donut Crazy was named as selling the “Best Doughnuts” in the state. Additionally, Food Network named the Cannoli donut the Best Donut in Connecticut.

The fun doesn’t stop with the customers! Zoe Michini, a Conard junior and Donut Crazy employee, says: “We have a really great work environment where everyone gets along with minimal stress.” She goes on to say: “It honestly is the best job ever.” Donut Crazy has something for everyone!
