Frisbie’s Dairy Barn in West Hartford
Frisbie’s Dairy Barn is set to open sometime this March in Blue Back Square, West Hartford center.
The New England based ice-cream chain was started in 2015 by Micheal Frisbie and currently has two other Connecticut locations in Windsor and New Britain, as well as two Massachusetts locations in North Attleboro and Sturbridge.
Frisbie’s will be at 38 Isham Road in the popular Blue Back Square of West Hartford. It’s taking the place of Kilwin’s, an ice cream and fudge shop that closed earlier this winter.
Blue Back Square is well loved amongst the citizens of West Hartford. Well-known for its wide variety of stores and restaurants, it sits just outside West Hartford center, another popular location. Frisbie’s will be located beside the Noah Webster Library and the Cinepolis movie theater in Blue Back.
Frisbie’s has gained national recognition for its annual National Ice Cream Day celebration, which is July 19. The ice cream shop hosts its 24-hour ice cream day, where the store is open all day and night to serve ice cream to its customers. This celebration has become well-known and beloved by fans of the shop.
Frisbie’s serves a wide variety of signature flavors, ranging all the way from Connecticut Coconut Almond to Mikey’s Milk Chocolate Chunk. Its wide menu offers a taste of delicious, handcrafted ice cream in flavors that appeal to all customers.
The store is set to open sometime this March in Blue Back Square.
